One of the wonderful aspects of using beadwork in interior design -- besides its natural luminescence -- is that the beads won't fade when exposed to sunlight because the colors are baked into to the glass. So a piece of bead art can withstand a sun-drenched area without losing any of the color intensity, where a painting or textile could not.
